The two water towers next to goole docks are known locally as the salt and pepper pots, and they are grade ll listed. The thin red brick tower was built in 1885, and the white concrete one that is still in use was built in 1927. They are a well loved spectacular local landmark.

A lovely selection of shops and people. If you live local there's usually some event on the weekends.
