Grantley Hall

From the moment you drive through the gates, the grounds are absolutely breathtaking and immaculately kept. We felt so welcome the second we stepped out of the car greeted warmly and helped with our bags right away! Check-in was seamless and made even better with a delicious homemade lemonade. We were lucky to have a sunny day to explore the beautiful grounds truly stunning in every direction. The spa was amazing, with both indoor and outdoor pools, a plunge pool, and a gorgeous view from the outdoor sauna. Every detail made it easy to unwind and completely relax! The food was exceptional, and every member of staff we met went above and beyond to make us feel welcome! A special thank you to Henry for greeting us so warmly, Lawrence in The Orchard Restaurant for his wonderful service, and Erin for showing us our stunning bedroom and all its amazing features! It was an amazing stay from start to finish! I felt I could completely switch off and recharge I highly recommend Grantley Hall to anyone looking for a luxurious and truly relaxing getaway!

Grantley Hall never disappoints. We’ve never actually stayed over, but we’ve been four times now for the restaurants and the spa, and every visit has been brilliant. The staff are always so friendly, welcoming and make you feel really special from the moment you arrive. The facilities are fantastic and everything just feels high-quality and enjoyable. We love it so much that we even got engaged there, so it’s a place that means a lot to us. If you want great food, a lovely spa and a special experience every time, we definitely recommend Grantley Hall.

Utterly exceptional. From the individual and person welcome at the gate, to the wonderful staff at every part of the hotel and its incredible food, drink and spa offering - the hotel really is one of the finest in the country. For us, it ranks alongside the grand dames of London - The Dorchester and The Savoy - but having achieved that standard of service and ‘well running’ without the decades of experience. Just wonderful. We hope to return next summer and take advantage of the beautiful grounds, which were a little soggy when we visited in autumn.

Grantley Hall- the very epitome of style, quality, and relaxing pleasure. Lucky enough to stay a night and would happily have stayed a week. I can’t remember a place where the staff were that helpful. As is so often the case it’s the little details that tell you so much- the chocolates and water left in our car for the return drive to Scotland a case in point.
