Our visit to Restaurant Eighty-Eight at the five-star GrantleyHall was nothing short of extraordinary. From the very first moment, we were captivated not only by the atmosphere but by the incredible hospitality. Sienna, Sam, Isaac, and Camile delivered service on a level that can only be described as flawless — warm, professional, and genuinely passionate. The food was simply fantastic: every dish a masterpiece, perfectly paired with wine that elevated the entire experience. What truly set the evening apart was the way the team told the stories behind the dishes and the wine. Their words transported us through time, making the meal feel like a journey, not just dinner. This was more than just dining — it was an unforgettable experience of flavors, stories, and impeccable service. Restaurant Eighty-Eight is the definition of fine dining, and we cannot wait to return.

We had an amazing birthday meal here! Ordered a variety of snacks, small plates and a side to share between us, and they were all so good! Particular highlights were the yakitori salmon and the pork bao buns. To finish, we had the matcha and white chocolate fondant and the single origin chocolate, which were both scrummy. The koi mocktail was also a favourite! The staff were so lovely and attentive throughout, and we really valued their recommendations and help choosing dishes. It was clear they all knew their stuff inside out. Highly recommended!

Everything is perfect about this restaurant. The food was delicious. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

We celebrated our wedding anniversary at 88 and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Our waiter, Hector, was absolutely out of this world – both my husband and I agreed he was hands down the best waiter we’ve ever had. He was attentive, warm, and extremely knowledgeable, he made the whole evening feel so special. The food was outstanding – every dish was beautifully prepared and full of flavour. Thank you, Eighty Eight, for making our anniversary so wonderful. We’ll definitely be back!

We had an incredible dining experience at Restaurant EightyEight at Grantley Hall. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and exceptionally well looked after by Fatou, the restaurant manager, and So—both of whom were incredibly friendly and attentive. We dined as a couple and chose the 8-course tasting menu, with one traditional and one vegetarian option. Every course was beautifully presented, bursting with flavour, and expertly balanced. The explanations of each dish and the accompanying drinks were detailed and enhanced the overall experience. The atmosphere was elegant yet relaxed, and the service was faultless throughout. It was a truly memorable evening, and we will definitely be returning!
