Not exactly the friendliest of owners. We popped in to have a mere gander as it looks very traditional from the outside. My partner (who is foreign) has never really seen a traditional toffee shop or sweet shop. The owner just looked at us as if to say "but something or get out". Even when asking the difference between toffee and fudge, his answers were so abrupt and rude. When we were finished looking around, we remained polite and said "Thank you, have a good day". And with a sarcastic tone, the man said "Alright....call in a again". If you can't handle people being curious about a shop, that's a definite way to get customers turning away. Not sure if he was having a bad day or just plain rude. But it's safe to say that our money was not wasted on this business. If you intend to reply, don't bother. I'm not going to read it. Hope this place makes some changes on customer approaches.

Don’t bother with the cinder toffee, it’s all gone off a long time ago. Most disappointing.

We went here last year on a trip and Grassington is abs stunning..we came across this little treasure while exploring the pretty little streets and as soon as I saw they sold fudge I was in there!! I cant rem exactly what flavour it was that I got maple&pecan or something of the like and it was absoloutely gorgeous! It was the last day of our trip and I recall eating it in tiny bites as I never wanted it to end it was so delicios!! We live a long way from here (Hull) but my mum an dad are visiting next week so I have told them to look out for this little gem and bring me some fudge back!! ❤️

Went in and purchased ice cream and lolly. Sign on counter stated minimum £5 for card payment. My purchase came to £4, and I had no cash, only card. The proprietor said he couldn't alter the minimum amount on the machine..? 🤔 so I had to pay the £5, which I agreed to. What annoyed me was the fact that he kept my £1change!
