Grassington House Hotel

Stayed for a couple of nights over New Year as a treat. Everything about this place is fantastic, food, rooms and staff. We had the Roast Beef on the first night which was off the charts. Pheasant with Venison Rag pudding was just as good as was the homemade black pudding.Great value for money as well. The staff here are so good at what they do and so friendly. The bar is great as well with excellent cask ales at a reasonable price. Wine is good value as well. These independent places need all the help they can get at the moment as they have to work incredibly hard to stand still. My wife and I would like to thank you for making our stay so special. We'll be back soon. Thanks again

Oh this must be the best Hotel right in the centre of Grassington! Just off the square set back maybe 25 feet from the cobbles. Perfect mix of old & modern styles, some rooms have a double bed with roll top bath in the main room with a separate en suite with a walk in shower, others are a little more compact without the roll top bath. Great shower, comfy bed, was lovely and warm, but you could open the windows if you wanted to. Freeview TV if you need it, telephone to call other rooms or reception. The Bar is small but very friendly with a decent range of drinks... Breakfast was fantastic, we all had Full English, everything was sourced locally and tasted amazing. Can't find anything negative to say, great visit. Highly recommend the Hotel. Thank you to the owners & staff!!

Would absolutely recommend this place. We had a lovely overnight stay. The room was beautiful and comfortable. The whole place - cosy and relaxing. We dined in the evening too, I have several intolerances including needing to be gluten, lactose and soy free and the chef couldn't have been better, more than one choice available for me and possibly one of the best 3 course meals I've had in a long time!! The french martini was to die for too! Thankyou everyone at Grassington house 🥰

Birthday wknd treat and really enjoyed staying at the hotel. Perfect location, but a warm, cosy hotel which felt very clean and homely…apart from stairs/landing carpets which definitely need upgrading but appreciate that would be a large cost. Room was small and compact but no complaints, great view, warm and spotlessly clean with homemade cookies, tea/coffee choices, and provided me with oat milk on request. Excellent evening meal, albeit a tad pricey, breakfast very good. Staff couldn’t do enough, all very pleasant and helpful. Would definitely stay again, thank you Grassington House

Grassington House is consistently our favourite place bar none to have lunch. Sue and John run a happy and stable ship, and the restaurant team will soon become your good friends. The Sunday lunch is just tremendous- perfect food in well- judged quantities. Wonderful pheasant and salmon today, but there's something for everyone.
