A delightful little coffee shop and bookstore with colourful and creative decor. I would describe the dishes we tried as English comfort food. Delicious! Staff were very welcoming and the service was very good. Also, the attached bookstore has a large variety of books, games, and gifts. And the town is lovely to walk around.
A really quaint cafe, brimming with charm and character. Lovely wholesome menu with lots of options for children and exceptional service. Our waiter was very attentive and made us feel very welcome. The food was served promptly and the portion sizes were excellent. Will certainly be coming again.
Couldn’t fault it. Nipped in yesterday after a walk. Friendly staff, cosy and nicely decorated. Veg soup with a cheese scone was excellent and homemade. The chocolate and Guinness cake was 10/10 My first time there but I’ll definitely go back again in the summer when they have tables outside in the pretty village square.
We had a little drive over to Grassington this afternoon and this was the only cafe still open at 4.30 which was lucky for us because it was a real find and we will definitely be back another day when we're there earlier for a breakfast. As it was we had drinks and an absolutely beautiful cheese scone. My partner had a pot of tea and he said there was loads and it was really nice. It was spotlessly clean inside, we sat outside in the sunshine which was nice, the chairs were a bit uncomfortable and could do with a cushion but the nice views more than made up for it. The staff were all very friendly and service was prompt and with a smile. Lovely bookshop attached with very clean and nice smelling toilet facilities, including a clean baby changing table which we don't need any more but knowing they're a rarity I thought I'd mention.
