Ashfield House & Cottage - Grassington / Skipton

Just returned from a lovely stay. Lynn was very welcoming and helpful and we were lucky to be able to get an early check in, which was appreciated. Room was very good and well equipped with a brilliant shower. Breakfast was superb, excellent choices, cooked to order and very good quality produce. Location couldn't be better. 100% recommend to anyone looking to stay in grassington.

My wife and I stayed 6 nights at Ashfield House during our visit to Yorkshire. Excellent (hidden) location right in the center of Grassington, with a large, lovely and quiet garden. Breakfast is among the best we have experience. Amazing service, great hiking and sightseeing suggestions.

I stayed at the Ashfield House during my Coast to Coast walk and it was a delightful experience. The self check in process was easy and my room in this lovely home style building was excellent. The cooked breakfast and packed lunch were also better than average. In particular, I remember the wide assortment of very healthy breakfast items and beverages, a much more diverse selection than any other place I stayed. Highly recommended.

What a little hidden gem in the heart of the village. Great helpful staff, delicious breakfast, quaint rooms with those little special touches (fizz). We’ll definitely be coming back! Already telling all my friends and family about our wonderful stay. Love the honesty box and the use of the lounge area and the inclusive glass of sherry. Loved how quiet it was at night. Access to the car park at the back is a bit tight if you have a large car, but they do also have space at the front of the house so there’s plenty of parking. For an old building they’ve made it marvellous and comfortable. It’s really charming!

Absolutely lovely stay here — everything was Great…the host, the room, the location and the breakfast! I would highly recommend this quaint B&B! Hope I can come again…..
