The Crooked Tap is a modern contemporary style bar in a former bank. There is a wide choice of beers, lager and cider, including some excellent craft beers. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. There is no pool table, but it has a large selection of board games. The pub is dog and small person friendly it has a nice atmosphere and a visit is highly recommended.
Great bar, good food, friendly staff, monthly House music night.
Fabulous place! Great food great staff music was a bit too loud though to sit and eat food and try have a conversation. Shouting whilst eating isnβt what I want to do probably just my old age though. Overall great place and amazing food!
Had a great night in the Crooked Tap last night. Great choice of drinks and the food was spot on. The service is friendly and welcoming and the staff are brilliant. Great to chat to and have a laugh with. Would highly recommend.
Popped in for a quick pint as we had an hour to kill one afternoon. They have a good selection of their own craft beers and various guest beers at the bar, plus a fridge full of cans/bottles available by well known craft breweries. It was very quiet when we arrived as they had only just opened but the staff were very nice and friendly to us and as their first customers of the day we got to open a door on their advent calendar revealing that we'd won a free pizza, which was excellent and much nicer than anything available from the well known pizza chain across the road. Will definitely be visiting again when I have more time available to sample some of their beers properly.
