The full measure is a cosy traditional community pub. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. There is a good choice of beers, largers, and cider, including two hand pulled cask conditioned real ales, which were in excellent condition when i visited. The pub is much larger than it appears from the outside. There is a pool table, dart board, and outside seating in a courtyard. The pub is dog friendly. Highly recommended.
A long singled room pub with a decked beer garden and smoke area. 2 real ales on offer. One of which is usually Tetleys cask, and the other is a varying guest beer which is kept in good condition (at least on my last 2 visits anyway). I have not visited during peak hours, but the Saturday afternoon visitors and staff combine to make a friendly atmosphere. Situated on Mill Street, just off Market Place (heading towards Lidl or the public libriary).
Good atmosphere. Friendly service. Reasonable prices. Minus point is that it closes too early.
