What a great addition to the Driffield High Street! This is the sister cafe to Cafe Norah in Cottingham and opened quite recently. I popped in for a coffee and cake and was struck by the lovely ambience. It was quite busy but there was a variety of seating options including lovely settees either low tables. The menu is extensive and offers something a little different to the other venues; my brownie was a good size and other meals I saw looked generous sizes too; will definitely be back! My Americano with oat milk was just right, accompanied by a delicious brownie. Staff are lovely and very attentive.

We were really looking forward to trying Cafe Norah, but unfortunately our visit was quite disappointing. The eggs were very undercooked, the beans were unpleasant, and the hash browns were soaked in oil that smelled and tasted old. During an incredibly busy morning service, staff members were frequently nowhere to be seen and appeared to be hiding in the broom closet next to the toilets, seemingly texting, which meant we couldn’t even order another coffee. We hope this was just an off day and may consider trying again, but this experience fell well below expectations and left us feeling very let down.

This was my first visit to cafe Nora, and I shall definitely be back. As soon as we walked in the atmosphere was friendly, relaxed and modern. I’m not one for eating out a lot these days as I find it quite disappointing. But the food was beautiful,I had the eggs on sourdough bread. To be honest I wanted to try everything, also took home plenty of homemade cakes for my family. Girls you have been amazing thank you I shall be back soon 👌🏻

Loved the food. Really nice to see a gluten free option for a lot of things.
