Called into this Italian gelato cafe as we had heard good things about it. We had heard correctly! What a place! The staff were friendly and welcoming, we ordered a mix of coffees and cakes there were 3 in our group. The selection of cakes, pastries and gelatos was impressive. I had the coffee and walnut cake which was delicious, great texture and flavour. It came with a mini ice cream in a quaint little holder off the main dish. I also had a mocha with oat milk which again was top drawer. My mother in law had the vanilla and raspberry cake with a standard coffee which she said was very good all round. The wife had a lemon and poppy seed cake which again was great and a caramel latte which again she said was lovely. All that came to about £18 which we thought was great value. Inside the gelato cafe it’s spacious and clean, normal facilities are available with regards to rest rooms and there is wifi. They also participate in the Driffield loyalty card scheme so make sure you scan the QR code! Based on this experience I think you would be mad not to give them a try!
Lovely coffee served with a mini-ice cream/gelato! Dog friendly too. Highly recommended!
Says they do not do crepes however the word crepes is literally plastered on the wall of the shop outside. (very strange). Furthermore, they say that it is gelato however when i asked what flavours they had they referred to it as ice cream ( also very strange ). one last thing, how can you sell ice cream and not have chocolate!
In the centre of Driffield, in Market area a cafe offering cakes, snacks, tea and coffee and above all ice cream and shakes/frappachino. The little sample cones attached to your drink are a lovely touch. Not a vast place so be patient if you have to wait for a table, it is worth it.
A beautiful and good quality selection of cakes, ice-cream deserts and gelato ice-cream. The hot chocolate was amazing too as was the service. I would highly recommend eating here.
