Barkers Car Mechanics

I did recommend this man until he showed his real colours .this guy did work on one of my cars and I promised to pay him on a specific day but due to my bank account being hacked and my money being taken out I couldn't pay him until the situation had been fixed. I paid this guy and apologies for the inconvenience and I found out that the payment of £185.00 had gone up to £240.00 . I went to see him about sorting out the rest of the work on the car and he said he did not want to do anymore work on my cars as I did not pay him on the original date ,once agen I explained to him that it was not my fault but he just was transfixed on not being paid on the original date agreed on.Anyway I thought that would be the end of the matter but no he texted me and repeatedly said I should have paid him on the date we had agreed once agen I tried to explain but he would not have it .I respect everyone I meet and I expect the same back plus I never am abusive to anyone but this man was to me in a text so I did not respond to it.i have NO RESPECT FOR THIS MAN now and I advise anyone reading this to steer well away from this guy.From 1000% respect to no respect a very very sad day for losing my respect.UPDATE the so called machine he sent around wrecked the range rover engine so now I know why Barker did not want anything to do with my range rover the cost of repairs for the work messed up by these so called machine s is £2695.DO NOT GO TO BARKERS CAR MACHANICS A very costly mistake on my side will be informing people NOT to go to these people and if you do take my advice then it will save you time and money. Also he put the wrong exhaust system on my range rover coursing damage to the lower plastic molding so a new exhaust system will have to be fitted more cost because of his incompetence PLEASE take note steer well clear of this man unless at some stage you are going to have to pay out far more than you want for his costly mistake on your car.Do NOT USE THIS MAN. If you do then be prepared to shell out more than expected.

Please please stay away from this cowboy. Took car to have oil light looked at and told him what I thought it might be. He assured me it was just a fault with the light. Looked at possible faults it could be and told him what it could be but he just laughed and said no way it was that. Guess what it was what I said and found out as the engine seized and car had to be scrapped. Please stay away from him

Had no problems Collected my car from work and returned it repaired as he said he would.
