Updated: Mazeys have responded by email offering a full refund (thank you!) and stating that this particular pair have come from a factory that George Cox no longer use. Thank you for responding quickly Mazeys.... it seems I was sent an inferior pair of George Cox shoes which were also the wrong size (not what was ordered). But, to be fair - Mazeys sorted it out quickly.
