Love this place. It's been 8 years since my review so thought I'd update. Went to other day for chunky wool and shampoo. Good price and good quality. Worth a visit.

We visit about once a month or so for household things we can't seem to find elsewhere. We've bought clothes, wellies, lights, drinks containers, decorations, buttons, fabric and so much more. Fully wheelchair accessible and really helpful staff if you can't find what you want.

As soon as I entered the store I was greeted by a very abrupt worker that tried to belittle me in front of the whole store because of my autistic child, My son who is very funny about eating in general had dropped a small piece of sausage roll on the floor which I offered to clean, she then proceeded to berate me and my son over something so insignificant. Worst experience I’ve ever had in my life whilst shopping and I will never return to this store for that reason. Horrible staff

I love the Yorkshire Trading Shops wherever they are! It is like walking into an Aladdin’s cave of treasures as the shop is just packed with things that you might need! I’m not sure that it is possible to nip into YTC because there’s always something to catch your eye that you hadn’t realised that you needed and before long you have an armful of shopping.😹 I really like the cleaning products section and the craft/ knitting wool section. Staff are always cheerful and knowledgeable.
