Driffield Showground is huge and hosts lots of great events including antique fairs, steam rallies and, of course, the Driffield Show which takes place on the 3rd Wednesday of July each year. It’s on the outskirts of Driffield so quite easy to access with ample parking, toilets and refreshments. It’s on main bus routes but there is also a free shuttle bus for the Driffield Show; alternatively it’s about about a 15 minute walk from the train station and/ or the centre of town. I’m adding photos from today’s Driffield Show.

We went to the tuck-it event at this show ground. Lovely place, lovely people. We even won the light commercial vehicle category

What a fantastic venue. Pity about the wind but we still had a great time.

A big area, lots to do and see.. loses a star for it's accessibility options on this particular event. Also no hot air balloons, but with the weather I can understand. Expensive day out but worth it for the memories

I attended the annual Driffield Show yesterday. It was a great event on, thankfully, a dry, hot day. Very well organised in every aspect. It was a small queue to park but straight out in the afternoon as there were plenty of marshals. All staff were helpful, so it made it a pleasant day out with lots to see. Very unusually, there were plenty of clean toilets. I will be back next year.
