Returned to Elmswell Hall for the second year running. An historical ruin with a story to tell. It’s in a beautiful setting and there’s plenty to explore. There was plenty of parking and several volunteers available to direct visitors. Well worth a visit when it’s open to the public once a year in April.

Only open one day each year. Wondered what we were in for but it was a bit of an anticlimax really. Pity the place has been left so long to decay.
