Just came to wolds gymnastics club today for a competition for my daughter. We didn't know it was just cash as this wasn't stated on any communication and when asked if they have a card machine we were met with an abrupt and rude "No" the lady was not helpful in the slightest and seemed as though this was an inconvenience for her, she couldn't even tell us where the nearest cash machine was and when she asked if we knew Driffield, we said no and then that was then end of any help, and her face showed that she was not happy that we didn't know Driffield. First impressions are not very good at all, and if this is what this lady is like to people coming as guests I dread to think what she is like to students at this club, far cry from Grimsby where we are from. Sami was the name of the lady who gave the "No" response and it is not the welcoming you would/should expect. If this was my first impression, 1. I would not bring my daughter here after that 2. How does she speak to the pre school kids she coaches? 3. For me It has let the club down, as it looks like a fantastic club. 4. You would have thought they would have invested in a card machine as most places have them now especially due to the recent pandemic and also the fact alot of people don't carry money anymore due to the way society is nowadays Unfortunately this first interaction was so negative it has made this review extremely negative.
My son is very happy here, great coaches.
