Went here for a family meal based on recommendation from my Aunt as they go regularly. Lovely little village location, friendly staff and delicious food. Definitely recommend going and advise booking.
The food is lovely, but what we cannot understand is why the more mature gent who serves behind is so rude. Is it not good practise to be polite to customers? They will return - Service is everything especially service with a smile or even just politeness!
Stopped by the Black Bull during a long bike ride and popped in to refill my water bottle. The barman couldn’t have been more accommodating—he happily filled it up and even asked if I needed anything else. The place had a nice atmosphere, with several people enjoying meals that looked absolutely delicious. I’ll definitely be booking a meal there soon. Great service, and all for something as simple as a bottle refill—rare to find that kind of hospitality these days
Came here for my dad's birthday meal, lovely village pub, service was excellent and the food was yummy 😋 definitely come again
Absolutely fab! Booked large group for Sunday dinner. Service was great, all the staff where so friendly and polite. Food was lovely, no issues with been a table of 15. Would highly recommend and we will be back. Thank you.
