I have been going to the cafe more in recent times. I have generally found staff to be very friendly, but today I was very disappointed in the service. It was very stuffy in the front area of the cafe. So, I ordered a latte and water and went to sit in the back room (where I usually sit). The young lady came and asked me if that’s all that I wanted (i.e. my order) and said the area was closed. She also said she was closing in half an hour - it was 3.20 and they shut at 4. Lord knows what she thought i would do in the back room or how long it takes to drink a coffee. They obviously don’t need customers given that sort of attitude. It’s definitely a cafe that’s off my ‘go to’ places.
The first time I try Too good to go app and try the food here. Got 2 cinnamon & raisins rolls and chicken sandwich from the surprise bag for £4! What a happy surprise. Will definitely try it in person next time.
One of the best caramel lattes I’ve ever had, friendly service and great vibes too
Really enjoy visiting here - a real treat with fabulous pastries. Lovely chat about different coffees with the barista making the drinks. She couldn’t have been more obliging and even succeeded in making me a cappuccino in the style of the ones I was used to Italy. Loved her Canadian accent too.
Our favourite spot for coffee, bread, sandwiches and pastries - Nat, Jane and the team are always welcoming and the space is great for work days.
