We were visiting the area and staying nearby and popped in for a couple of drinks. The staff and customers were all really friendly and it had a great atmosphere! I canβt comment on the food as we had already eaten.
Love it, the size, the laid back atmosphere and the locals. The real gem here is the young lady Jess who works there. She could not have been nicer to me and my son, will 1000% come back.
Checked opening hours with Google maps. "Times confirmed with owner a week ago". Got there at 16:45 on Sunday - closed! A less than helpful sign on the shutter saying "closed for 4 weeks" but not saying from when. Oh well, the 4.5mile walk was nice anyway. Edit: they seemed to have got back on track and it's now a decent venue for a few beers.
