First visit (I've already enjoyed a take away) and I'm impressed. The food was fantastic and the service excellent. A revisit is on the cards, for sure.
Turned up without a reservation after walking out of the Moorlands Stonehouse carvery at Owler Bar due to being ignored at the door for 10 minutes despite a booking. Could nt be more welcoming, attentive service and excellent food.
What a fabulous evening ,wonderful food and service. We were celebrating and the staff could not do more for us and made the night a fabulous memory. We will definitely be back and everyone should try here and you will not be disappointed.
We tried this place after driving past a few times and weβre extremely disappointed. We were the only two people there on an evening which shows there isnβt much demand at this place. We stayed and gave it a shot. The food was below average. Everything came out so fast that it cannot have been fresh. The food felt like it was microwaved and the starters were awfully small. Me and my husband both came home and have been vomiting all day after. Cannot recommend this place at all. Safer getting a meal deal from Tesco down the road. Extremely bad quality food.
Always excellent food, great size portions. Pickle tray is the best selection I have ever seen! Try the lamb dishes, they use legs of lamb and the meat is so tender. They also deliver but doesnβt beat eating in! Definitely recommend.
