Lovely woods just outside Sheffield, good parking seemed well maintained and clean. Nice walks well marked very peaceful tranquil. There were several walkers with dogs off the leads but seemed to be well controlled.
Excellent well maintained visitor centre. It is a central community hub, with regularly updated notice boards of local outdoor activities. The friends of Ecclesall run regualr outdoor seasonal activities including pumpkin hunt, fungi hunt, Easter hunt, and other self guided walks highlighting natural points of interest. Nice kid friendly coffee shop with outdoor seating. Parking is by recommended donation. Highly recommended.
Gorgeous place went on a Forage for mushrooms 🍄 will defo go again so peaceful and spiritual
This is a small car park though it does have a parking ticket machine. Used on a Monday afternoon when the visitor centre was closed. Plenty of spaces available. The toilet facility was locked perhaps because the main visitor centre was closed.
