Marketing plan at St Luke’s charity shop seems to be to dress the windows but not then allow customers to buy the things in the window! I wished to buy a cream flower pot today but was refused by an embarrassed assistant who said she was not allowed to sell the donated items in the window. Does this charity not wish to make money for their hospice? I would understand if it was for a special event but this was just a window full of cream coloured pots. I think the marketing strategy needs reviewing to make money for the hospice and not annoy the customers and volunteers. A shame for an otherwise pleasant charity shop.

Bigger than average charity shop. Wide range of stuff. Next door is there furniture department. Probably mid range for price. Usually parking on the road, and there are another couple of other charity shops very near

Well set out ,clean and good quality products on sale.There is a changing room to try before you buy.Good selection of things for sale,staff are friendly and helpful.You are also helping to raise money for a very good charity,so go and enjoy a bit of shopping,do your bit and bag a bargain too🙂

I love this shop, known it for many years. I have never been disappointed by the staff or the prices. Bargains galore. The staff are helpful and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble. Stock varies but that’s the nature of charity shops, I’ve always found a bargain and prices are as good as the other local charity shops. Worth noting also that it is staffed totally by volunteers ( so don’t get paid and sometimes could be understaffed) but if I’ve asked questions I’ve been spoken to in the correct manor. I love this shop. Don’t you think it’s amazing what the force of amazing folk who donate goods and staff that work for free, can make you feel uplifted. Not forgetting what St Luke’s charity is, it’s hospice care, pray to god you never need to use the facility but support it when you can. Thank you St Luke’s @Woodseats for being who you are and doing what you do. Hopefully this little bit of praise takes you to a nicer place. Well Done. Cath

Great place! Very big for a charity shop and there is a lot of stuff to choice from, all at reasonable prices as well.
