DIANE LUKEMAN DESIGNS

We had been wanting a new kitchen for quite some time, and had spoken to a few companies who couldn’t meet our needs. We then found Diane Lukeman Designs, and are so pleased that we did! We don’t have a big kitchen, and it’s a straightforward U shape, but it was challenging because of the large amount that we wanted to fit in a relatively compact space. It was also a big job because we took everything back to basics. Diane has lots of contacts within the various trades, making the job so much simpler than having to find everyone ourselves. We removed the old solid floor, removed the old ceiling, took the walls back to brick and completely replastered, had completely new electrics with their own mini fuse board etc. We even had to start by getting the old underground lead water pipe from the mains into the property replaced. Diane’s showroom is small, but she has an amazing range of kitchens, worktops, handles etc. to choose from. We think Diane only deals in quality products, but at very competitive prices. She would always go the extra mile to find things that she didn’t already sell or have contacts for, to meet our exacting requirements and tastes. The time and effort that Diane put into our kitchen was phenomenal – I cannot believe that any other kitchen designer would do so much! Diane gives really good advice and thinks of things that wouldn’t have occurred to us. She is a fantastic designer, with great attention to detail and a good eye for what will look good, and what things will go together. We felt that she really listened to our requirements, and understood what we wanted to achieve. Diane and her partner are also a genuinely lovely couple, who were a pleasure to work with! We’ve been using our new kitchen for a couple of months now and cannot overstate how fantastic we think it is. It caters brilliantly for storage of all our ‘stuff’, it’s a genuine delight to work in, and the design is really practical. Everyone who visits us comments on what a lovely kitchen we have, and what fantastic quality it is. Thank you so much Diane, for everything. We love, love, love our new kitchen, and would thoroughly recommend you and your services to anyone wanting a lovely, practical, competitively priced new kitchen!

We are delighted with our kitchen provided by Diane Lukeman Designs. Diane sent me visuals for three different designs and worked patiently with me as we chose what we liked from each alternative to produce the final kitchen design. I think Diane excels at design and she had useful suggestions such as a charging drawer and other things that I didn’t even know were available. She offers an inclusive service so the supply of appliances, worktops, fitting and flooring were all managed by her after we chose what we wanted. She provides a personal service to a very high standard. She is easy to talk to and responds quickly to queries and was very generous with her time even getting me quotes for different things so that I could have all the information I needed to make my decisions. It felt that it was as important to her that I got the kitchen I wanted as it was to me.

Diane did a fantastic job with our new kitchen/extension. The kitchen she designed fulfilled all of our requirements and even when we couldn't decide on this or that, she couldn't have been more helpful and understanding throughout the whole process. She is incredibly easy to talk to, very kind, open and generous with her time in order to deliver the very best for her customers. Couldn't recommend her enough! 10/10.

Our new high gloss light grey contemporary kitchen looks fabulous! It attracts the attention of everyone who comes to our new office and all the staff love it. It is the best quality kitchen I have seen in a long time and was great value too. I would thoroughly recommend Diane Lukeman designs.

I would just like to say once more how thrilled I am with my new kitchen. From Diane’s’ design work on paper to the end product, the service given has been top notch. It seemed I had only to mention something to you once and it was done!!!! (even to Diane remembering the kitchen towel rail I wanted). Thanks for all the extra running around and for your endless patience. Although my kitchen area is small, you have made it so functional and light that it feels bigger and I actually don’t mind cooking a meal in it. Please give my regards to all the trade people who visited and who were all so attentive to their jobs. Nothing seemed to faze them.
