If you're a music "buff" and / or you're into vinyl, this is probably your 1st call if you live in Sheffield or Rotherham area. Friendly helpful and knowledgeable staff. Spent many hours on www trying to get a stylus for a vintage turntable without success. Visited Moorgate Acoustics and they sorted a new stylus and fitted it within minutes. Awesome. These guys know their stuff.

Recent turntable upgrade was excellent, and I had my amps serviced whilst I was at it. In fact I first bought hifi here over 35 years ago, and their advice and service has been consistently good throughout. Recommended.

I have dealt with Moorgate since the early nineties purchasing various components from them always had excellent, friendly service from them . This was confirmed after a recent amp failure which blew one speaker the service received was excellent both speaker and amp had to be returned to the manufacturer which was organised by Moorgate and on return both repaired free of charge despite being out of warranty . Absolutely fantastic will definitely be back for my next upgrade when funds allow. Thanks again Dave

Simply the best customer service ... Paul and his team work tirelessly .. you’re always made welcome regardless of how much you spend with them ... their passion for Music and Hi Fi is what is most apparent .. I’m privileged to know that they are my local dealer .. that said I would encourage anyone, whether local or further afield to visit their fabulous showroom .. they have such a diverse product range, properly designated listening spaces and nice coffee too ! My latest purchase from Moorgate of turntable and streamer are quite simply some of the best bits of Kit I’ve ever owned .. As a passionate retailer myself ..it’s great to know that there are others out there doing a great job too ..

Paul & his staff are absolutely superb in their ability to help customers enjoy their music as well as possible. Their knowledge, skill & experience is fantastic. I've made use of their services for many years, both for buying & selling audio equipment & it's been a complete pleasure dealing with them on every single occasion.
