Fantastic area. Bike track very good bigger than expected. Red and black route in parallel and another black downhill section nearby. Wonderful surrounding area for a general walk or ride.
This small ish park is a short walk from a couple of bus routes and close to the lovely Grenoside woods, and in the village where the park is situated, there's a cafe, chip shop, general store and a few decent pubs. I used to bring my son a lot when he was small, since then, they've added a bike / scooter track. The actual park equipment is varied and kept in decent condition and the park is in a nice area so I never worried about bumping into any "wrong un's". The only thing missing is a pond or water feature, but that's not an issue in my opinion. All in all Grenoside Park, village and woods are a nice place to spend an afternoon.
Just visited as I used to live at 42 main st back in the 1980's before moving remembered the bmx track opening on my 9th birthday was just nice to take my daughter on her bike .
Nice clean park with big fields and play area. Park for the smaller children with swings, roundabout, climbing frame, etc. and a skate area with ramps and grinding bars. Adequate free parking nearby.
Played bowls here. Green ok but from a nowlers perspective it was very slow and desperately in need of cutting
