Visited the newly opened Three Swords for a late Saturday lunch this weekend. Overall a very positive experience, the refurbishment is good and the place was busy with a welcoming atmosphere. A fine selection of beers that are reasonably priced. Ordered a few dishes from the small plates menu, which is described as Indian Street Food, and range in price from £4 to £10. The food was outstanding, particularly the Kolkata Chilli Chicken and the Momo Dumplings, perfectly cooked and bursting with flavour. The staff were excellent, all friendly and helpful; this is a wonderful new addition to the Guiseley social scene and will likely become our new favourite local. It is also dog friendly.
Exceptional. The small players are not so small, I eat loads and struggled with 4. The chilli chicken is amazing, just get 3 of those! Great food, great venue and great staff. And I bumped into an old school friend I haven't seen since 1986. Then Leeds won 4-1. A perfect day.
Since they have started their new branch in Guiseley, I have always seen they are very busy, So decided to try them this Friday with 2 other Indians. Very glad with the food choices, Nice collection of Indian street food. We ordered Vegetarian Szechuan Noodles, Aloo Tikki Chat and also Biryani , Must say all of them were TOP NOTCH, very nice Indian flavours. It was kind of very busy, still they adjusted us and service was fast. Going to be a regular there now. If they read this review I would like to request Vegetarian Samosa chat to be added in Menu.
A restaurant that serves beer essentially. I arrived with my partner at 730pm on a Friday night. Every table was occupied or booked for eating, with no dedicated area to drink we were essentially pushed ( by busy staff and customers at the bar) into a corner. We were rescued by an old couple who had finished eating and asked us to join them. If you come for a drink only come after nine, which is when it got quieter. The food looked good and the staff were friendly. There is an excellent choice of beers but for a brewery to sell it's own at +£5 per pint is really greedy in my opinion. Other brewery's such as gooseye in Bingley sell at a reduced rate and a pint there is around £4, but I guess the residents of guiesley can afford it. A note to the brewery- why no dedicated seating/standing areas for drinkers? Upstairs? Not everyone wants to eat a curry! Don't forget your core customers who were drinking your beer when you started out!!!
I booked the function room at the Three Swords in Guiseley for a works do and couldn’t fault it. The assistance with organising was excellent and I was kept well informed in the run up by Hywel, making my life so much easier. The venue itself is lovely, the staff were great, and the food was genuinely really excellent. We’re already regulars, but after this event we’re sure there’ll be even more visits, everyone commented on how good the food was. As always, the beer and other drinks were top quality, exactly what you’d expect from Kirkstall Brewery. Highly recommended if you’ve not visited yet!
