We came in for afternoon tea with our toddler and it couldn’t have been more perfect. This place is cosy, homely and relaxed. The staff were genuinely lovely, which makes all the difference when you’ve got a small child intent on throwing food on the floor 🫣. The afternoon tea itself was fantastic…out toddler was obsessed with the cake and very clearly approved! 🍰 It felt like somewhere you’re encouraged to sit, relax, and enjoy yourself rather than being rushed out the door. Such a warm, family-friendly spot with great food and brilliant staff. We’ll definitely be back — and would highly recommend it, especially to anyone visiting with little ones.
Best cafe in Guiseley by far. Amazing coffee, absolutely divine cakes and always wonderfully friendly service. It has a warm, quirky and cute interior which makes it the kind of place that feels perfect whether you're catching up on some work, having a catch up with a friend or taking the kids out for a treat. Too many delicious things on the menu to mention but I can honestly say that there isn't carrot cake in existence that is as good as the ones from Bramble Bakehouse! Also PSA: if you're ever lucky enough to visit when there's ever Butternut Squash cake on offer, DO NOT miss the opportunity to try one of the most delicious cakes you'll ever eat. Just say yes, have it warm with cream, and you can thank me afterwards. 👍🏻
A hidden gem of a coffee shop, this small independent spot is everything a true community café should be. The moment you step inside, you’re met with the delicious, warm aromas of freshly brewed coffee and a wonderful selection of teas — a welcoming scent that immediately invites you to relax and stay a while. Their drink options are thoughtfully varied, with something to suit every taste. Jo, the wonderfully dynamic owner, goes above and beyond to accommodate everyone who walks through the door — nothing is ever too much trouble. The home-baked goodies are a real highlight, with plenty of gluten-free and dairy-free treats that never compromise on flavour. The sandwich choices are just as tempting, fresh, and satisfying. You can feel the pride in every ingredient, much of it sourced from the Yorkshire–Lancashire borders, adding a special touch and a real sense of supporting local. It’s incredibly child-friendly too, making it a perfect stop for families. Upstairs, there’s a whole world of fun and community activities — another sign that this place is more than just somewhere to grab a drink; it’s a genuine hub for the neighbourhood. With informed, friendly staff, cosy surroundings, and true community heart, this coffee shop radiates warmth and love at its centre. Give it a go… you’ll be so glad you did!
By chance, my husband picked up a sandwich for me while we were waiting for our daughter’s school bus—and honestly, it turned out to be one of the tastiest sandwiches I’ve ever had! It was just a simple cheese salad on brown with a bag of crisps, but absolutely delicious. I’ve already been back twice to have the same one again. The staff here are incredibly friendly and welcoming. They’ve kindly allowed our daughter to use their facilities after school when she pops in with her friend, never asking the children to make a purchase, just offering a warm and discreet welcome instead. It’s such a thoughtful touch. The service is wonderful, and the food, cakes, and drinks are all excellent. Afternoon tea is also available, and I’m really looking forward to trying that soon. I’ll definitely keep coming back for my sandwich—it’s the perfect little break before school pick-up. The short-stay car park right opposite makes it even more convenient. Many thanks to the lovely team for creating such a cosy, welcoming place to visit!
I went into Brambles today and had a great cup of coffee!! Welcome back Brambles we have missed you! The staff are really friendly and the coffee is the best I have tasted. I always see lots of regular customers coming back time and time again. I will be back too for cake next time!
