I've eaten here a few times, in the restaurant itself and also had takeaways. A few years ago this place used to be quite good, however now-a-days, its overpriced, watered down curry with bland sides and starters. For example, i got a takeout only a week ago because it had been ages since i had eaten there and i wanted to see if it was still any good. got x2 main curries, rice, chips, naan and some chicken wings and the bill came to £50?! The curries had a few pieces of frozen reheated meat in a diluted sauce, the wings were dry and skinny and the sides shared the consistancy of cardboard. I used to love this place, but i can honestly say i wont be ordering/visiting here again.

I found the woman front of house quite miserable when we got there, and didn’t get a warm welcome at all, or on the way out, Food was beautiful but I felt a bit rushed when ordering the poppadoms and pickled tray to then ordering the starter and main, we got asked 3 times when I had already said I will let them know when we are ready to order, I will definitely give it another go as we really enjoyed the food and most of the staff were lovely, had a bit of banter with one of the staff and he seemed really nice

Book in advance as this isn’t a massive restaurant. Very good Indian restaurant , friendly helpful staff. Clean , comfortable seating and nicely decorated. Starters are excellent The curries we’re amazing , I just wish the portions were slightly larger. Thoroughly enjoyed my chicken tikka masala Everyone who came with me enjoyed their meals and had no complaints. Well worth a visit if you’re in the area. Parking is across the road and is free

We had yet another incredible evening at Mumbai Village, and while the food and atmosphere are always fantastic, it was Amit who truly made the night. From the moment we arrived, he remembered us from our last visit and greeted us with such warmth and attentiveness. His service is exceptional — he goes above and beyond to make sure every detail is perfect, and you can tell he genuinely cares about his guests. Amit is truly made for hospitality; his attentiveness, thoughtfulness, and genuine nature elevate the whole experience. The food, as always, is exceptional — bursting with flavour and beautifully presented. But it’s the service that takes it to another level. Amit makes you feel like more than just a customer; he makes you feel valued. Without a doubt, this is the best Indian restaurant in the UK (and we love a good curry, travelling from Liverpool to Edinburgh!) 😁

Disappointing... I/we have eaten here before and the food has been very good, and the atmosphere has been great. Hence we returned on Saturday night 11/10/25 for another time. My friend who lives in Guiseley had made to booking over a week before for 19:00. A table for seven people one of us who required wheel chair access. I personally had traveled with my wife and friend from Liverpool to enjoy meeting my friends and have night out. we arrived and were asked to await the table being ready. We waited for 50 minutes without so much of a word from any member of staff as to why the table wasn't ready or available. They would not engage in eye contact. They never offered of drinks or any kind of indication of when the table would be ready. I went to the restaurant next door to see if they could accommodate 7 people. We had a nice meal and a great evening with friends. No thanks to the Mumbai Village. The Turkish restaurant "TUANA" was pleasant, professional and was life saver. Thank you I will not be travelling again to Guiseley to eat at the Mumbai Village. Glen Edwards
