We visited for Sunday lunch and it was amazing. The staff were warm, friendly welcoming. The food was delicious, very clean, and beautifully presented. The overall atmosphere was elegant, modern and upscale. Highly recommended!
So.... Saturday night at sancerre! We have visited a number of times and their bottomless brunch is excellent. However I will not be returning on a Saturday evening for their ala carte menu, we waited over an hour for our starters which were under cooked dough balls. Clearly the kitchen was overwhelmed and it showed sadly in the food and the staffs faces. Some of the mains dishes were acceptable but far too long of a wait. I will come back again but definitely not on a Saturday evening.
Really impressed by this place, service was amazing, not in your face, just right. Food very traditional, reminded me of the food my nonna used to give me in southern Italy, simple and ridiculously tasty. I will definitely be going back. My only complaint is I would have liked some traditional bread to mop that gravy up. X
Of course! Here’s a shortened version perfect for a Google review: Had an amazing time celebrating a friend’s birthday at Saccerrre! Huge thanks to Marsh and Claudia for going out of their way to make it special. The food was excellent, service was fast—even with our big group—and they kindly let us bring our own cake. Great experience all around! Let me know if you'd like it even shorter or more casual!
Atmosphere was great, very bustling. The service by the waitresses was brilliant but less so by the manager after adding 2 drinks to our bill despite us being on the fixed bottomless brunch menu, despite us asking if we still had time to get another drink. Multiple times we asked for extra drinks which never came. The portion sizes were tiny, and I have a small appetite!! 100% not worth £40 per head, won’t be coming back, overpriced, all about looks not value nor quality…
