Popped in for lunch and was quietly surprised. Big menu choice, attentive staff, fast service and delicious food. Highly recommend for a snack or something bigger.

Came here recently with an old friend for some lunch. We were not disappointed! She had a blue light card and was able to get 10% off our bill. The place was not busy at all and all the staff were very helpful and friendly. We shared the calamari and nachos for starters which was all lovely. I had the bacon and mushroom pasta for lunch which was delicious and I would definitely recommend, my friend had the steak sandwich which she also enjoyed but was abit dry. Delicious cocktails and some of the cheapest I’ve seen in the area. I will definitely be returning to try more of the menu !

We are lucky enough to live opposite the White Cross pub and we get in when we can, after a busy weekend we called in for a date night (Monday), the atmosphere was lovely, the food was spot on - as for the service it was exceptional (Elliot served us at the bar and the table and was very professional and and absolute gentleman), 5 stars for the White Cross. Many thanks guysπŸ‘πŸ»πŸΊ

An absolute disgrace, they offer a discount voucher but won't accept it when you set up a tab for a family of 8. At the end of the meal the kids were getting tired and I went up to pay with one of them. A totally new guy said do you want to pay which I did and totally forgot about the discount voucher. I went in a day later with the receipt, the email confirming the table booking and an the relevant voucher. The response was simple and quite arrogant, you should have shown your discount voucher last night and it's now to late to do anything about it. So much for customer service and you can be assured I won't be returning and neither will either my family and friends Avoid

I feel like the food has gone down hill a little over the past year. Used to decent pub grub, now it all feels a bit defrost and heat ready meals. All the portions are now a bit stingy and it feels like the kitchen isnt making anything from scratch but just reheating corporate distributed food products. Maybe I'm wrong. The staff are still great though.
