Very happy indeed to call Open Kitchen my local Chinese. The salt and pepper chicken genuinely is the best around. We frequent the pork chow mein also, proper slices of pork no skimpy little pre-cut pieces like some places. Friends and family who’ve tried the food from here have also converted into regular customers. I do notice the prices increasing over time but I am happy to pay as the food is so good, and as long as the quality stays good then it’s fine. Been inside various times and it seems like a very lovely family running the place. Was surprised to see a few low star reviews. Meat content has always been generous, everything cooked fresh in-front of you. Definitely give it a go, best Chinese in North West Leeds without a doubt.

First time ordered from open kitchen and was very impressed, really tasty and couldn’t fault at all having ordered a few dishes.
Normally really enjoy our food from here. Unfortunately just had 4 boxes and probably had the equivalent of meat of one dish!! Really tasty noodles and rice but at nearly £8 a box with only a couple of pieces of meat in each it's not good 😔to be honest probably won't get it again as can do better at home with the fewer ingredients that we had rather than enjoy the treat!😭
Terrible Singapore Fried rice , really overcooked rice made the dish heavy and stodgy, minimal meat prawn content as ordered the special version ,used a good few times over the years with few not quality dishes , unfortunately Open kitchen is off the radar now hence no more orders will be given .
