Maggie's Tea Room Rawdon

Absolutely stunning! Highly recommend!! Myself and my team booked the festive afternoon tea as a part of our Christmas celebrations. We were made very welcome by the lovely staff on arrival. The tea room was beautifully decorated and had a wonderfully warm and cosy atmosphere. The quality and flavour of the food was excellent, it was obvious that every item was made from the highest quality ingredients with love and care. Mr Maggies scotch eggs and Mrs Maggies gingerbread cupcakes were a particular highlight. We will definitely be making return visits.

Recently visited for a family event and had afternoon tea. Absolutely amazing spread and friendly service (as always). Food was incredible in presentation & taste, even more impressive was the fact the gluten free option (which in fairness most of the food served, GF or not, was anyway! So much choice) tasted just...like...normal...food! Clear to see that Mr. Maggie takes a lot of pride in his creations and it really shows through. Had a lovely time, was absolutely stuffed (had to box it up to go home lol) so enjoyed the tasty cakes the day after also. Top marks all the way, thank you so much.

Wow! What can I say, absolutely amazing!. We arranged for my daughter to have an afternoon tea for her baby shower here. There was just 8 of us going. We where aloud to decorate and arrived 20 mins before the party started to trim the table, get games ready and arrange balloons. My 2 daughters are Coeliac and this was catered for in full. They even made me a gluten free baby shower cake, covered in pink buttercream, so I could decorate it on the day. The food is out of this world. The tea is proper tea leaves in a fancy tea pot with matching tea cup and saucer, and is a fantastic cup of tea. Then at the end of the party the staff where so happy to help tidy up and offered to get rid of all the decorations/balloons etc that weren't wanted. They even lent us a big cake carrier to take the baby shower cake home and gave us loads of boxes to put anything we hadn't managed to eat in home. If you or someone you know is Coeliac, or you just want some good food and a decent cuppa this tea room is the best. Thank you Maggies tea room, you made our day.

I had my baby shower here and we opted for the afternoon tea, including a gluten-free option for me as I’m celiac. I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The gluten-free afternoon tea was clearly prepared with care, not an afterthought, and everything was delicious and beautifully presented. The staff made me feel completely at ease about my dietary needs, which made the day even more enjoyable. Such a lovely venue for a baby shower — calm, elegant, and welcoming. I would absolutely return🩷

Had a lovely afternoon at Maggies, delicious afternoon tea with my friend. Great service and no issue at all for gluten free options. So many choices!!
