I had an amazing experience with Melanie. I'm visiting the area to photograph a wedding, and coming from the west coast of Scotland with limited salon's and lack of facilities, I decided to book a wax. First of all, her beautiful home salon made me feel so relaxed and comfortable. Second, she uses an amazing wax that minimises irritation to skin and hardly hurt compared to other intimate waxes I've had. She was so lovely and the whole experience was miles above other salons I've been to. I wish I lived locally so I could come here more often! Thank you so much :)

I would highly recommend Melanie. She always goes beyond to make you feel relaxed and get the most out of your treatment. I’ve had many treatments such as eye brown tint and shape, manicure with hand and arm massage, back neck and shoulder massage and a lovely facial- I have problematic skin but Melanie ensured me the products she uses are very gentle but effect. She was right! The products left my skin feeling calmer and hydrated and me of course de stressed! My most recent treatment was the luxury paraffin wax pedicure which was amazing, nails filed, cuticles worked, feet filed, feet exfoliated, mask applied, heated booties, legs and feet massaged and then finished with polish on the toes which there’s a big selection to choose from. Cannot wait for Melanie to open again and I can get booked in.

Cannot recommend MJ Beauty enough. Mel is so friendly & welcoming and she is extremely knowledgeable on the treatments she offers and the products she uses (which are of the best quality) I had waxing, which for the first was pain free and I’m so pleased with the results! I will definitely be returning for more treatments.

I have been having treatments with Mel for a number of years and can honestly say there has never been a treatment which I have felt could have been any better. Her knowledge of the products, reasons for using them as well as other knowledge of skin conditions and how to improve them are exceptional. She has an extremely pleasant manner and is always happy to fit in with the client. I would recommend anyone to try a consultation with her.

Total relaxation with excellent results. I booked a rehydration facial which came with a free back neck shoulder massage, plus a lash & brow tint. I left looking ten years younger. Melanie is professional and organised with an easy friendliness, using fab products. Wonderful experience. I'll be back.
