Tom W has been amazing from start to finish and very very patient! He has helped myself and my husband in purchasing two brand new cars. In October 2024 I purchased a Cupra Formentor from JCT600 Cupra Menston. Immediately after collection, I noticed the profile options, such as ‘comfort’, ‘sport’ or ‘Cupra’ were on occasion not available. The option selected was not visible on the dashboard, nor on the information system within settings. The button to change the profile had no effect when this was the case, however it wasn’t an ever-present issue and would only on occasion present. Having checked the battery level, as I was aware the vehicle had not been in use for a while, I noticed a significantly low reading. On 29th October 2024, during a phone call with Gareth Watkins, Used Car Sales Manager, I explained the issue and requested he confirm my concerns via email, to which he did. On 31st October, Mr Watkins emailed to inform me he would pass the information on to the service team and get back to me, however never did. I recall chasing this via phone call at the time however with no success. As the issue was not a constant one, I continued to use the vehicle and other issues began to present, such as warning lights unexpectedly, features disabling at random and stop / start system errors culminating on 15th March 2025 when I required breakdown assistance due to a complete shutdown of the internal screen and dashboard. After completing a ‘soft reset’, the AA confirmed there was a software issue and to contact Cupra, which I duly obliged. I was able to book an appointment and attended Cupra Menston on 1st May at 13:00 hrs. Between the initial breakdown and the date of appointment, the issues continued such as issues with the cruise control suddenly breaking when overtaking as a result of a vehicle in the left hand lane, as expected when over taking, and the gearbox occasional ‘knocking’ into neutral whilst in motion, often when on cruise control on the motorway. Having attended the appointment on 1st May 2025, I met a male named Luke and I was informed there was an issue with a roof module that would need replacing, as well as a ‘slow update’ that was needed and was told it would take 3 - 4 days. Luke stated that they could not see any issues with the gear box, and that the battery was fine. Luke told me that due to these issues, certain features would disable for safety reasons. At the time, this made sense however I now feel this was simply an excuse. These repairs were booked in for 16th May 2025. Having attended this appointment, I was informed the work had been completed. All issues continue to present today, resulting in the most recent breakdown on 7th November 2025. This resulted in the AA verifying the warning lights present and recovering the vehicle to Cupra Menston. On a number of occasions throughout all these periods, I have attempted to contact Cupra, often with initial success, however with no follow up. I requested emails following our conversations to confirm what was discussed, none of which were provided. Most recently, I contacted following my vehicle recovery in November 2025 and spoke with an employee named Georgia. I explained the issues and requested an email confirmation from her for 2 reasons; firstly, to confirm in writing my concerns, and secondly so I had her email address to send her a document detailing all the issues with photo and video proof to assist them when repairing my vehicle. Her email never arrived.

I recently attended Cupra Menston to enquire about a new car. I was met by Ian who was friendly and welcoming from the off, he was extremely knowledge and I didn't feel any of the stereotypical sales pressure. After booking an appointment, Ian explained all of the options to me I ended up making the decision to purchase a Terramar. Ian (and the dealerships) communication was top notch throughout, and the process was quick and efficient, without losing the personal feel. I would definitely recommend!

An excellent car dealer with very helpful staff. From my initial enquiry about a new Terramar a few months before Simon at Cupra Menston was very helpful in guiding me in selecting the right model & spec without any pressure at all. We struck an excellent deal both in terms of the price of the car and including interest free finance. Simon kept me fully informed while the car was being built and once it arrived Jake did a comprehensive handover explaining all the car's features. Thank you to both of you !

I recently bought my Terramar America’s Cup edition from Cupra Menston and couldn’t be happier. Ian gave me a call and sorted out a fantastic deal on my trade-in along with a new offer I just couldn’t refuse. He was attentive, friendly, and really knowledgeable throughout the whole process. Highly recommend both Ian and Cupra Menston!
