Wow! Alex and his team were amazing from start to finish, I honestly cannot recommend this company enough! Not only were they really well priced, they were professional, really helpful and responsive to any emails/texts I sent asking questions, but they actually went above and beyond for us. Due to one thing or another (at my side) they accommodated my last minute changes and managed to change the removal date for me. They worked hard, looked after all our belongings, dismantled and reassembled everything that was needed and even picked me up a washing machine and fridge freezer from a different property! Thank you so much to them for their service!

5***** company! The lady that gave us a quote was lovely and friendly. Had a quote same day and booked straight away as the price was extremely reasonable! When the lads came they were all friendly and made our move stress free. They were very thorough and made sure everything went in the correct rooms. Everything was wrapped in moving blankets on the vans to ensure that all our good remained scratch free. Once the move was complete we even had a follow up phone call from Alison to make sure everything ran smoothly and we were happy with everything! Excellent communication from start to finish! Hopefully we will not need to move however If we do I would not hesitate to use Thomis Reed again! HIGHLY RECOMENDED FROM A VERY HAPPY CUSTOMER.

Our house move could not have gone better. Alex and his team were brilliant. I was a little anxious before hand ( as you would expect!) but they arrived on time, took great care in handling all our possessions and furniture in great time, and moved us from Shipley to Bishop Aukland. I cannot praise the firm enough. The price was extremely good and within our budget, and we worked with Alex to get enough space with the vans. I would highly recommend this company. It was like clockwork, and made a day that could have been very stressful a breeze.

Choosing a removal company can be a stressful experience in itself, but Thomis Reed really helped us through this part of the process, the lady who we spoke to on the phone was calm, confident and was a major factor in our decision to choose this company for our move. On the day of the move they turned up on time, the lads were polite and they worked extremely hard to get the vans packed / unpacked as quickly as possible. Unfortunately, the warning signs started to appear very quickly into the day. The booking lady had reassured us that all furniture would be individually wrapped and great care would be taken with our valuables. However, we realised that items were being put into the van without any protection and when we questioned this we were told this wasn't the practice and they only had limited sheeting for a select few items. They attempted to carry the dining table out in one go and load as is (to save time) instead of detaching the top from the base and wrapping as had been discussed at quote stage. When they finally gave in with that approach (after bouncing off the door frame several times) they just turned the table upside down and placed it onto the hardwood flooring, scratching the top. When we arrived at our new house, several items came out damaged / scratched. Attempts were made to repair some items, for the scratches we were told to just contact the office and they would sort this out the next morning. When we called the previously friendly lady, it was like speaking to a different person. We were told the damage was our fault as the furniture was "poor quality" and it was made very clear very quickly that after care and issue resolution were of no concern to this company. I have given the company 2 stars as they did complete the move, but this is only the basic requirement of a removal company and you should be able to trust that your possessions will be treated with respect and care.

having moved with my wife and 5 children I have to say, having thought it would be the most stressful move in the world... I was completely wrong. from start to finish the office ladies were extremely helpful and polite (good fun too!) communication maintained throughout and the booking was made and completed as instructed. The boys arrived on times, smart and polite.... they worked extremely well and efficiently throughout the day. I could not rate them highly enough, absolute pros at what they do. Top class removal company, great price, even better service 😁 thank you
