Jakes The Natural Choice For Pets

Absolutely love Jakes! The staff go above and beyond & are always at hand to help with recommendations etc I'm a regular to the shop & tell all my friends to go there for there pets needs! Matt recently advised me to try the Albion raw range and wow, it's amazing & my Rottweiler loves the food! Easy storage in the freezer without taking up much room, defrosts quickly and cuts up lovely! The salmon and veg is a firm favourite! Definitely recommend the Albion food range for any raw fed dogs!!

I shop at Jakes every fortnight for a range of dog treats and high quality tinned dog meat and biscuits. The owners are incredibly friendly and passionate about animals and their job. They are helpful and are willing to offer advice and helpful tips. Their customer service is next level. They frequently help carry my shopping to the car and will go above and beyond to make sure my dog has everything he needs. I recommend Jake’s to everyone I know with pets. Their selection of goods is far superior to what’s on offer at the local supermarkets and is more reasonably priced. If you haven’t visited before then please go and you will be a returning customer too!

Matt recommended the chomps and chews bones to keep my dog distracted whilst we had visitors and they went down a storm. Beth helped with sourcing the right feeding bowls and gave advice for a dog who was sick after breakfast. With their advice and guidance we now have a very happy pup 🐶

I visited to see if he had my dogs raw food. After a long educating chat about what's in each food (including the rubbish I was currently feeding him) we chose to switch him to naked dog food. What a difference it's made! My dog loves it! Jake knows his stuff. I just wish I found him before feeding my dog the other raw which was not beneficial to him at all.

Amazing local pet store with everything you need and things you don’t even realise you need until you see them. I get all my dogs raw food here, the most lovely, knowledgeable caring people. Highly recommend.
