J Brindon Addy Butchers and Food Hall

Wonderful selection of ready-to-cook-at-home meals (we had spatch-cock chicken, roast potatoes, leeks with cheese, sprouts/cabbage/bacon), all delicious. Lovely cherry and almond loaf cake, ginger biscuits amongst a good selection. The butcher's counter was well supplied with fresh meat. It's just a shame we don't live closer!

I sadly have to use an electic motor scooter and as my mobility has become worse this last few months I cannot negotiate passed the ramp due to a wooden table and chairs being bolted down ( see the photo ) When I asked why I was met with a very unfriendly answer from the manager I told him I liked to support local and travelled from Sheffield , he said you’re not local if you’re from Sheffield ( I live up near Bradfield ) Told him o come often he said he’d never seen me before I’ve been coming for 16+ Years Well One thing for certain I won’t be going again very sad Rob Royde , thorncliffe , blacker hall in future I’m no keyboard warrior never ever complain but this managers attitude stinks

Best sausage rolls and pork pies in the land. Love this place and visit every time i go see my famiky. Great butcher and produce, nice alcohol selection too. Did i mention the sausage rolls?

I could not rate this place higher. I’ve been coming here for years from working in the local area and making the trip over from Slaithwaite. Tremendous spread of all things and a quintessential Farm Shop. Plenty of staff, all smiles from the hot counter, butchers counter and till. Great representation of a classic Yorkshire setting. I always recommend this to locals and invited friends from outside the area. The meals are large and rich, they can certainly be for more of a price than elsewhere but that’s for the quality you receive. Stocked my fridge, freezer and larder several times through J Brindon

The meat is as fantastic as ever, great quality, great value for money and and truly delicious. The customer service is top notch too.
