1st time at this library. Absolutely LOVED Adam Blake childrens show, The Crossroads! It. Was. Fantastic! Really enjoyed by all ages. The Wizard and his helper, really funny, engaging and interactive. Please book this again. It was great for the kids! We also went to the Mask Making in the afternoon. This was really good too. The idea was to make a mask of what scares you. Plenty of time and lots of craft materials. Thank You Adam Kay and King Cross library. Thank You Very Much!
I used to visit my local library, and it was a great experience. The library had an extensive collection of books, magazines, and newspapers, as well as access to computer. The staff was knowledgeable and helpful, offering assistance with finding resources and answering questions. The atmosphere was quiet and peaceful, making it the perfect place for studying or reading. Overall, I highly recommend this library to anyone in the community looking for a great resource for learning and research.
Lovely Staff, always clean and tidy. Nice selections of books and the staff are always happy to help. I asked if I could have a book ordered in and the lively staff member happily ordered it in from another library, so convenient. Love going to this library and having a chat with the staff
Just went in to print off a postage label. Chap very helpful (Librarian).
I just visited the library and was given a five minute reminder that the library was closing. I shut down the computer immediately and told staff I had printing to pay for. I was shocked how rude the staff were, telling me that they had already shut down their system. When I asked them to re-open them they were very rude and huffy. I went to pay and the man at the front counter told me 'he had been there since 8.00am and wanted to go home! Wow! Talk about lacking professionalism! I told him library that it may be a good idea to remind people more than five minutes before closing if they needed to pay for printing. And to the man on the front - maybe weekend working isn't suitable to you if need to be so rude to the library users :(
