If 6 🌟 reviews were allowed, this micro bar would certainly justify it. The choice of well kept cask & craft is left field and excellent; you may never have heard of much of the music before but it works; the service is unbelievably good and if in doubt ask for a taster! All in all such a welcoming pub, you can see why it’s so popular.

My favourite bar of the moment. Very cool bright interesting decor, great range of beer. Card only. Sell a range of beers from independent mid price to really rather exclusive. Dont look for Carling or John Smith smooth here - this is beer snob country - yay! Owner and staff all excellent and bright interesting characters. Tattoos and music loom large. Feel free to linger at the bar or look cool and intetesting in a corner (at least I like to imagine I'm cool and interesting in a corner, rather than the rotund scruffy crumbly, with me dinner down my front, that I actually am). Vinyl sunday is fun, bring an album down, they dont judge but better if its no one most folk have heard of. Only slight grumble is sometimes the beer choice is a little unbalanced and too heavy on the sours. Loos and extra seating and games are upstairs. Top tip: take a quick look for shoes in the second hand shop opposite. Im not sure which cool dudes they are killing off in the night, but they have some great shoes for sale quite often.

Found out about this place through the Verdant Brew co launch of Putty. Glad I found it. Excellent place for craft beer and great music. Only wish we lived nearer but a great cosy venue to add to the other excellent craft beer venues in Halifax.

"Dogs Welcome"! (also all manner of humans). Good ambience, I felt genuinely at ease & welcomed. There are 2 gender-neutral toilets upstairs, the cubicles are small but well maintained. I'm not aware of an accessible toilet. The upstairs seating area has great charm.

A new addition to the portfolio of quality bars opening in Halifax. Very dog friendly & great selection of beers & lagers, in addition to excellent selection of Low / No alcohol lagers & beers. Great future for this bar, which will attract a great crowd. Experienced great service & Benson was looked after, with a small bowl of gravy bones on arrival. Thank you guys, see you next week, my other half his going to love this place. 👍
