The Hop In Craft Beer and Cider, originally based in Halifax Borough Market has moved into larger premises since my last visit, allowing more customers to sit in and enjoy the wide range of ale and cider. The "Hop In" has two cask ales, on draft and a number of craft ales on keg hand pumps. There is a large selection of craft ales and ciders in bottles and cans available to drink in or take away. The cask ale I drank on my visit was well looked after and of good quality. The "new" Hop In is well worth a visit and makes a good addition to the burgeoning Halifax real ale scene.
Cool little craft beer bar, very friendly with 3 cask & 3 keg lines & an impressive selection of cans & bottles for takeaway or drink-in. Quirky selection of signage too. Highly recommended.
Lovely hosts, always make us feel welcome. Beer is kept exceptionally well, with a rotating cask and keg selection, with an incredible range of cans & bottles. Wine, spirits, ciders etc all available too.
Great craft pub in Halifax centre just by the top of the entrance to the Piece Hall. Loads of choice and plenty of bottles or cans of Craft ales, ciders, sours to drink in or take home. Seating downstairs and upstairs. Brilliant place when out in Halifax.
First time in Halifax and without doubt the coolest pub I've been in. Nick and Karen made us all comfortable and the selection of beers is phenomenal. Thank you so much for looking after us
