One of the best bars in Halifax. It just nice to sit down with ya mates or a loved one and have a nice drink and a catch up with an amazing share platter. Love the place would recommend it to anyone.
Meandering Bear is a great bar in the centre of Halifax. Good choice of beers both hand pulled and craft/keg. Very friendly staff and plenty of seating.
Fantastic service of well kept beers - tasters available if in doubt. Snacks and platters available until 20:00 ~ everything is locally sourced.
Great little pub, quite quirky, friendly staff and beers on top form, downside is it had a little bit of a club feel about it but that's a minor niggle. All in all very nice.
Stop two at the Meandering Bear. A great micro bar with superb beer options. It turned out a friend from Uni days does a Sunday shift so we returned later. Had a lovely pint of Norwegian Blue by Parkway Brewing; all the way from Somerset on first visit. On the second visit we met Chris after a 40 year gap. He has remained a real ale fan as well and contributes to a local beer magazine. A new beer from Durham had come on. Again excellent. Well worth the visit.
