Awesome food, great service even when busy (at Xmas) and the prices are affordable, we had giant Yorkshire pudding with beef stew and roast beef dinner with mash. (Veg is also available)
It the cafe I always head for when in Halifax. The staff are always very nice and helpful plus very hard working. It's great value basic food with no thrills. You'll find they cover for all ages, it's just an old fashioned market cafe, no less and no more. Hopefully it's going to be still there for many years to come.
Brilliant breakfast, as always cooked to perfection 👌 would recommend when you're out and about in Halifax to call in, staff friendly 😋 and polite, always smiling😃 and laughing 😃.
Horrible food, the cheapest margarine I've ever tasted on the toast yet I heard the woman saying to a guy she would put lurpak on his, certainly wasn't on mine. The cheese on toast was like slime and not a fan of homemade chips anyway but half of them were hard
