Hi I am the niece , Im absolutely furious about our experience at your restaurant. Not only was the staff incredibly rude, but they outright lied to me when I pointed out how oily my food was. They tried to blame it on the chickpeas, which is ridiculous! When my aunt spoke to them, they conveniently admitted it was a new recipe they were trying out, but they couldn't even bother to inform us beforehand. I order the samosa chat every single week, so you'd think they could have given us a heads-up. Now, I'm dealing with severe food poisoning because of it. And if you don't believe how much oilier my dish was, I have photographic evidence comparing mine to my aunt's – we ordered the exact same thing! I am beyond disappointed and will never recommend this place to anyone.

Unfortunately this time it was let down. I have had meat samosas from here when it was called cha cha chai and they had always been good. This time they were over cooked and did not taste nice. The lemon cheese cake I got did not look or taste fresh. The Dubai chocolate I got ended up being dark chocolate and had peanuts in it instead of pistachio The service was good the food unfortunately was not.

I came with my niece and we both got samosa chaat. For some reason hers was extremely oily she went and spoke to the lady at the counter and said its oily. The lady who served us said its the chickpeas they're oily twice and dismissed my niece. After I ate my food which wasn't as oily. I took both plates, my niece could not finish it as it was dripping in oil and horrible to say the least. I went up and spoke to the lady at the counter and said why was hers so oily? And why was mine not as oily but still oily. Also to bare in mind I have been ordering here from years and got samosa and chaat so many times it has never been oily ever. I explained to the lady and said to her it cant be the chickpeas as I make it at home and they dont be oily. All of a sudden she changed her tune and said 'oh we changed our recipe today' SORRY??? So when my niece spoke to her she was being rude and dismissive. But when I spoke the recipe changed. I think the workers here really need to learn to speak to customers with respect and not be rude. I also ordered some food to go as we ate it but I was getting my nephew food too. Whilst handling the food the in the background my niece saw the lady eating food with her bare hands and not handling the food with gloves on. Which is quite concerning when it comes to food hygiene is all I am going to say. And finally the lady who made the food slammed our takeaway food on the counter and said 'HERE'. I just think the staff were really rude and I won't be coming again.

Delicious breakfast and generous portions. 30 min wait for collection, food very hot. The halwa puri was fantastic. The puris especially were large and delicious. The desi breakfast was good. Parantha home made instead of those tiny frozen ones. The daal was bland however, get the chana instead. Desi omelette is also good. Desi tea delicious as always.
