A lovely coffee shop! I’ve been looking for a decent independent local coffee shop and spill just tops it. Nice atmosphere, lovely business owner Eli, great coffee and food. The coffee house had a lovely cosy feel to it. We had the chicken ceasar sandwich and lattes which were perfect! Everything from getting in to leaving was spot on. Very polite and the detail to latte art is phenomenal! Well done. We will be returning as our new regular coffee house! :)
This weekend I came across Spill for the first time and was pleasantly surprised by how good the coffee was - made to perfection. I also had a small millionaire shortbread, which was great too. My only reservations are that, for how busy it was, the place seemed a little under-staffed, so the coffee took quite a while to arrive and I was told food would take around 30 minutes. The decor also feels a bit unfinished, and the space looks quite bare. I’d love to see them develop the atmosphere into something warmer and more inviting because the quality of the coffee really deserves it.
I highly recommend this place as they went out of their way to make sure I got my French toast! I highly appreciate the service we received! Highly recommend the grilled cheese sandwich, matcha and the French toast! Will definitely be back!
There is room for improvement, but over all a wonderful experience, staff was humble and helpful. We went on a particularly chilly day and the bartender happily switched on the heater right next to our sitting area (heating in the building was already on). French toast was the highlight of the day. Soft, delicious and an impressive portion.
I recently tried their matcha and the beef bacon,egg and cheese bagels , and both were absolutely amazing! The matcha was so smooth and flavorful , with just the right amount of sweetness. You can tell they use high-quality matcha, and it was prepared beautifully. The beef bacon, egg, and cheese bagel was also delicious. The bagel was fresh and perfectly toasted! The customer service was just as great as the food! The staff were friendly, welcoming, and made sure my order was just right. They really went above and beyond to make the experience enjoyable. Overall, everything was perfect, great food, amazing drinks, and excellent service. I’ll definitely be coming back!
