Considering the bunch of bad reviews this place has my expectations were low, but following the dress code and turning up early gave me free entry and cheap drinks! The music is alright, not my cup of tea but when you've got a few drinks in you it's very danceable. Granted I went on a Halloween do so maybe my experience was unique? Anyways, will be coming again

Absolutely appalling behaviour by the security when I visited on Saturday. I haven’t been to this nightclub in years, or nightclubs in general for even longer. Upon entering the venue I overheard one security mutter to his colleague (or so I assumed) “that’ll need to go in the cloak room”. He was referring to my friend’s leather jacket. As I said, I’ve not been in a long time and I hadn’t seen any signs so I thought nothing of it. When we were waiting for a drink, a security member came over and aggressively tapped my friend on the shoulder and shouted “I told you before, get that in the cloak room now!” in her ear. Im sorry I didn’t realise we were in the army barracks. Just another way for them to take your money. If drinks weren’t 75p I bet they wouldn’t bother. Either way it was completely uncalled for. Just for anyone’s records, he had long hair in a ponytail, a Versace belt, and tribal tattoos. He later approached the same friend and pointed at her layered skirt which he also thought was a jacket. He then pointed at my lightweight shirt I had around my waist. It had no pockets - when I told him that he walked away and we swiftly moved to the other side of the room to finish our drinks and leave. Back when I used to go out, nightclubs used to be a fun experience, but if I was younger and I’d just started going out, this would put me off completely. Make it more obvious when entering. I also read Acapulco’s very blunt response to another review. Not everyone checks your website before visiting.

The Drinks are cheap, the music is the usual cheesy pop, the Smoking shelter is shielded from Bad Weather, the toilets arnet flooded, the Bouncers are actually polite and the crowd is very "someone for everyone" cant really go wrong, aslong as youre under 30!

I am disgusted with how me and my friends have been treated, this was our local club that we have been to many times, I never felt so completely disrespected by any club. me and my friend were rudely kicked out of the club due to the fact my friend had small jacket tucked between her arm and her handbag. The bouncers were rude and aggressive towards us aswell as refusing to let us compromise by going to out it in the jacket area. Very disappointed would not recommend
