5 of us went this evening for the first time to this amazing restaurant. The welcome from the restaurant owner (I did not grab his name) was welcoming and friendly he was such a really nice guy. Service and food spot on the picture is the mixed sharing for 2 people gyro, it’s worth it for two people as mentioned. If you want to try a different restaurant in the centre of Halifax try it. Highly recommended
The staff were welcoming, friendly and attentive throughout. The food was better than expected, but we didn't try and great range of dishes. The calamari was ok, the olives were nice and the mixed giros to share was ok. The girls was a little dry and the accompanying salad was missing the feta, which the menu stated it was served with. Went for a drink in the bar afterwards and, once again the barman was friendly and attentive. The staff definitely make this place and the food comes second. Hopefully we will return and try some alternative dishes to give a more balanced review.
Cannot fault this place, very friendly staff; they were welcoming and warm. The atmosphere was just as warm and friendly, minimalist and rustic but also some contemporary touches. The food was delicious, staff were ready with specials and recommendations, two of which I chose and would recommend to others! Perfect if you need a good meal before an event at the Piece Hall or Theatre. Will be back again 👍
First time here, newly opened but the food and service was like spot on, not always something you’d expect from a place that’s only been open a week, bruschetta to start which was fresh and seasoned beautifully, bread on the side which was free, mixed meat gyro’s as a main which was spot on. Atmosphere was on the quiet side, however saying that it was a Tuesday night, I imagine on a weekend this place will be heaving if word spreads about how nice the place is
What a fantastic way to kick off my time in Halifax! If you're looking for exceptional and authentic Mediterranean food, atmosphere and service, look no further! Tactfully decorated with a diverse menu and traditional music, this place marks all the boxes and then some! My only regret is I can't take it with me when I leave😊
