The best lunch spot in Halifax, hands down. The service is always amazing, they are friendly and fast. I always go for the hot strips with spicy rice and they never miss. Flavour, quality, and consistency every time 10/10.

Shockingly poor customer service and dangerously low standards when it comes to food quality. As one of the few halal options in Halifax town centre, we’ve given this place a chance more than once. Unfortunately, after our most recent visit, we will not be returning. We ordered two parmesans and, despite the restaurant not being particularly busy, waited 25 minutes. When the food finally arrived, both portions of chicken were clearly undercooked and unsafe to eat. When we raised this with a staff member, his response was dismissive and rude — he simply said, “That’s how it comes.” After insisting that someone else review the food, he eventually took the plates away. Around 15 minutes later, he returned and dropped a plastic bag with two takeaway boxes onto our table without explanation. The food inside was the same chicken, shoved into boxes, now cold and still not properly cooked. He muttered something about putting it “back in the oven” but made no effort to address our concerns properly. The lack of care for both customer safety and basic service is shocking. Serving undercooked chicken is not just poor quality — it’s dangerous. Their attitude toward fixing the issue was just as unacceptable as the food itself.

Absolutely love Franganos! The food is consistently delicious, packed with flavour, fresh, and cooked to perfection every time. The chicken strips is a personal favourite, always juicy and perfectly spiced. The service is quick and friendly, and the vibe is relaxed but welcoming. Whether I’m dining in or grabbing a takeaway, it never disappoints. Highly recommend!

Waste of money. Not bashing a business but more or less Raw food served and the some of the staff are really lazy and provide poor service. I had tried speaking to the staff a couple of times but nothing. They actually didnt seem to care. Shame. Would not recommend or come again.

Ordered the Chicken Parmesan and it was extremely rubbery and unpleasant. When I raised the issue, staff were dismissive and refused to help. After insisting I didn’t want it, they took it away but brought it back exactly the same — no fix, no apology. Terrible service and a disappointing meal. Wouldn’t return.
