Somerset House Halifax

Had a lovely Sunday lunch yesterday. Starter - Hot Salmon Salad & Main - Roast beef with all the trimmings. Service was great & Good price too. A nice place to check out in Halifax.

Called in on the off chance to grab some food and have to say.. I’ll won’t eat anywhere else going forward if in halifax.. the meatballs were just outstanding. Portion size was excellent, taste unreal, price point spot on. Had skin on fries to complement the meatballs and basically used to clear the plate and the tomato sauce. Staff were very polite and welcoming. All in all and little gem of a bar / restaurant in halifax. Thank you so much. RECOMMENDED 5*

My Daughter and I went for bottomless brunch for her birthday, we were very well looked after. The decor is lovely. We chose the cocktail option and there was lots of choice. The food was gorgeous, and the staff couldn't do enough for you. Thanks so much for a lovely experience, we will be back. Emma & Karen 😀🥂👍

We visited a few weeks ago during a trip to Piece Hall. This place was a brilliant find. The service was lovely, we were told of the week day offer of 5 dishes for the price of 4 and asked if we had any dietary requirements. All the staff went above and beyond to ensure our experience was lovely. The food was absolutely amazing! Especially the sweet potato fries with feta and honey. This is definitely my go to place when I next visit Halifax

Extremely attentive service! Was nice👌🏼 Just stopped for a dessert so will return for the main event. Tapas!
