I parked, paid and got charged on my card. Confirmed this online as well with their online assistant. They still sent me a fine. I’m attempting to appeal the fine, I’ll update with the result.
I followed all the rules, yet I was still unfairly fined. Trying to sort it out has been frustrating and unhelpful and unsuccessful. Totally unreasonable experience—won’t be parking here again.
This car park is a scam, had multiple fines when I've paid for tickets. Won't accept any appeals.
Avoid this and any other Euro Car Parks parking spaces. I drove into this one in Halifax to find one floor blocked so had to try and turn around but this was made hard by all the pillars in the car park. Found one space which as tight due to the bad parking of others but managed but slowly. One pay machine out of order and the other didn't work when trying to pay with card (had no cash on me). Gave it all up as I couldn't pay even though I wanted to, so return to my car and left. All in all this took 11mins and now they think they can fine me £100.00 for non-payment!!! I've asked for CCTV of me leaving the car park on foot to prove I parked and left my car. Needless to say, they won't supply it and I won't be paying anything. NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER USE THIS CAR PARK.
Paid to park in Wigan, they took money out of my account, and they gave me a parking ticket saying I hadn't paid. I Provided proof, yet they didn't belive me or my credit card company. I Appealed and lost. Had to pay £101.90 for 90mins for parking.
